The Symbiosis Project is a research lab focused on designing products using biological principles. It explores how to design with the “technology of biology”—from biomimicry to synthetic biology—and investigates emerging research, technologies, and biofabrication methods to create new biomaterials and products. The goal is to understand how products might one day be grown instead of made through speculative design as a transdisciplinary research method.
